"I didn't know she preferred 'he'."
Or "Who Sees Dorian in the Mona Lisa?"
This is a quote that is not mine. I don't like putting up anything as a "Deviation" if it is not wholly mine, but I think it is somewhat artistic, and a reflective bit for me. It is a slight manipulation of something that was said to me today by a "family" person. I took out a couple words just to make it a six-word story, because I thought it would make a good one, as well as a commentary on... the slightly humorous slips and idiosyncrasies of society and it's manifestations in spoken language.

Anyway, read it a couple times if you like... This is not something you should ever say about anyone. I don't take offense; it doesn't make me angry. So much is inferred and hung on this statement, not just about the issue, but people and respect and.... Yes.

People are who they are, not what you infer from what you glimpse about them.

That's very true, but I think it's almost human to do it regardless, you know?

I like the message this contains and how you've portrayed it quite simply, almost. It's great how you've incorporated formatting to make it stand out more, and.. yeah, it makes you think as well.

I don't think I get it completely, but that's more my fault than anyone else.

Cool stuff.
